College Football Playoff
My coverage of the College Football Playoff from Dec. 2022 to Jan. 2023.
2022 Fiesta Bowl
In December 2022 and January 2023, I had the opportunity to cover TCU Football and its historic College Football Playoff journey.
As a writer and reporter for KillerFrogs, I traveled to Scottsdale, AZ where the Frogs played the Michigan Wolverines in the Fiesta Bowl. It was a truly amazing experience getting to attend press conferences and other media events. The opportunity allowed me to speak with and learn from others in the industry. As I networked, I met media members from Michigan's photography team as well as others working for the WolverineDigest.
In regards to media coverage, I reported on media week leading up to the contest, which included a joint head coach press conference with Sonny Dykes and Jim Harbaugh.
On the day of the Fiesta Bowl, I was fortunate to have field access and watch the pregame from the field. There I saw numerous reporters for FOX, NBC, ESPN and more. Being able to see everything in action and up close was incredible. From there, I made my way to the press box where I would stay for the remainder of the game, piecing together a halftime report (see below).

2023 National Championship
Shortly after TCU's tremendous performance in Arizona, I traveled to Los Angeles, CA to cover the 2023 National Championship at SoFi Stadium.
While in Los Angeles, I covered the media week leading up the championship as I did in Arizona. This time, I also reported on media day (right) when both Georgia and TCU made players and coaches available to the press.
Held at the LA Convention Center, I interviewed TCU's Max Duggan, Quentin Johnston, Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson, Steve Avila, Johnny Hodges, and Dee Winters. Once TCU's media availability ended, I interviewed Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett.
On game day, I made my way to SoFi on the earliest shuttle to settle into the press box and have time to walk the field. I also prepared and recorded a halftime report, summarizing Georgia's dominant first half against Sonny Dykes' Horned Frogs (right).
